Hello!
Meet your practitioner, Qihui (pronounced Chee-Hoy), a Licensed Acupuncturist currently practicing in the New York and New Jersey area.
Background
Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Qihui moved to New York when he was 27 to pursue a Master’s degree to become a licensed acupuncturist. He has acquired a plethora of other degrees such as:
- Bachelor of Law in Social Work from the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law
- Bachelor of Medicine in Acupuncture-moxibustion and Tuina, or Chinese Massage from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Health and Science
Qihui studied with TCM master Dr. Lihong Liu at the San He Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2020. He also completed the first official certification program in pediatric acupuncture in the United States from JingShen Pediatrics in 2022 with Moshe Heller and Dr. Steven Cowan. Qihui currently serves as a board member for the United Alliance of New York States Licensed Acupuncturists.
His specialties include treating adults and children with insomnia, digestive issues, chronic pain, over weight, psycho-emotional imbalance, and irregular menstrual cycle.

In 2024, he served as a social worker at the Shanghai Children’s Medical Center, supporting children undergoing heart surgery and their families. Between 2020 and 2021, he received specialized training in pediatric acupuncture with Moshe Heller and Dr. Stephen Cowan through the Jingshen Pediatric Course, where he learned to treat children using Chinese medicine modalities, including acupuncture, shonishin, Chinese pediatric massage, guasha, and moxibustion. He is also a dad of a 5-year-old girl who has a calm spirit and gets along with children very well.
